The stats we will touch on include the average sales price, number of sales, number of new listings, the months of inventory metric, the average number of days it takes to sell a home, and the current market conditions we are experiencing.
In November 2023, the region saw an average sales price of $883 115, representing a stable trend compared to last year.
The total number of sales across the whole region was 540. Oshawa led the way with 158 sales.
The number of new listings was 1,262, representing a 22% increase compared to last year.
The months of inventory across the whole region was 2.7. This is the time it would take for all existing inventory to sell, given that no new listings entered the market.
On average, homes are taking 19 days to sell.
The Durham Region real estate market is currently experiencing a balanced market real estate market, with some areas favouriting the buyer.
