Scugog Location

The Township of Scugog is located just north of the town of Whitby and the city of Oshawa. The largest community in Scugog in Port Perry.

Scugog Transportation

The Township is serviced by both the Durham Region Transit and GO Transit. There are two GO bus stops. Durham Region Transit has a route that goes directly to Durham College/Ontario Tech University.

Scugog Outdoors

The Nonquon provincial wildlife area in Scugog (just north of Port Perry) has over 2,000 acres of wildlife. 

Scugog Business

Beaverton is the commercial centre for the township and has several stores.

Scugog Education

There are five public schools and one high school. Durham College and Ontario Tech University are 15 minutes south of the township.
