Ajax Location

The Town of Ajax is about 45 minutes outside of downtown Toronto. It borders Pickering to the North and West and Whitby to the east.

Ajax Transportation

Durham Region Transit and Go Transit service Ajax. It has one GO train stop, providing a quick and easy commute into downtown Toronto. Highway 401 runs through Ajax with interchanges at Westney and Salem Road. Highway 407 runs through Ajax in the North End.

Ajax Attractions

You can find Pat Bayly Square on the corner of Bayly and Hardwood. The square consists of 4 residential towers and ground-floor retail/office space. It also has a water fountain, which becomes a skating rink in the winter.

Ajax Outdoors

People know Ajax for its beautiful waterfront. The trail spans about 7km and provides some beautiful scenic routes. Major parks by the waterfront include Rotary Park, Lions Point, and Carruthers Marsh. The town is a bicycle-friendly community that has over 140km of trails!

Ajax Education

The town has several elementary, public and private schools. Post-secondary institutions in the area include Ontario Tech University, York University, Ryerson University, University of Toronto, Centennial College, and Durham College

Ajax Real Estate

The town offers many housing types, including single-family homes, townhouses, condominiums, and apartments. The town has both established neighbourhoods and newer developments.
